KOTA was born from the collaboration between Nico de Soto, a French bartender and entrepreneur known for his cocktail bars in Paris, London and New York, and Gabriel Boudier, the historic Dijon liquorist founded in 1874. A key ambassador of pandan in cocktail culture, Nico de Soto partnered with Gabriel Boudier’s expertise to create a modern and refined pandan liqueur designed for mixology.
KOTA reveals a unique, indulgent and deeply exotic aromatic profile.
THE NOSE: pandan immediately evokes notes of vanilla, fresh almond, rice pudding and buttery biscuit.
TASTING: the texture is smooth and elegant. Pandan unfolds with depth and softness through a rich aromatic palette that is vegetal, indulgent and refined at the same time.
Designed for modern mixology, KOTA brings a unique aromatic signature to both classic and contemporary cocktails. It integrates perfectly into a Daiquiri, an Espresso Martini, a Negroni or a revisited Old Fashioned, where its indulgent notes enrich the cocktail’s structure with elegance and originality.
The liqueur is crafted from dried pandan leaves, macerated and distilled to extract the full aromatic richness of this iconic Southeast Asian plant. Often referred to as the “vanilla of Asia”, pandan naturally reveals notes of vanilla, almond and buttery biscuit.
Production takes place in Dijon within the Gabriel Boudier distillery, renowned for its expertise in botanical infusion and extraction.
